Andrew Smith Dipfa

Andrew has over 34 years experience in financial services. He began his career as an Insurance agent with LV=, then as a financial consultant with The Britannic, then moved to CIS as an area manager. Andrew then took up directorship role with an independent firm Jamesmith Financial Services Ltd before finally deciding to setup a new company Amber Solutions Financial Planning LLP.

As a partner with Amber Solutions Financial Planning, Andrew cares for all aspects within the company, acting as our compliance officer. He specialises in estate planning as well as advising his clients in all aspects of financial planning.

Andrew is a long standing Swansea City FC supporter, loves model railways and gets away on sunshine holidays as often as he can. It’s also true that he could give your car a nice new paint job if required. He is married to Paula and they have four grown up children

Jason Witherspoon DipFA

Jason has over 14 years experience in financial services. He has worked for the CIS as a financial adviser and Blufin (Axa Wealth) as an Independent Financial adviser, he joined Jamesmith Financial Services Ltd as their youngest advisers in 2009 advising clients in all aspects of financial products including Pensions and investments.

He headed up the Mortgage Advice desk with in Jamesmith Financial Services Ltd and maintained all their I.T requirements.

Jason specialises in giving Retirement advice, from all aspects of investments to Pensions. He also Heads up the Mortgage Advice desk here at Amber Solutions Financial Planning LLP.

As a Partner at Amber Solutions Financial Planning, amongst advising and looking after his client, he is responsible for the I.T Department and other regulated activities.

Jason has a young family with his Wife who also works as a Para Planner with in the Firm, he enjoys playing and watching football following the Swans in their ups and down, also an avid Cardiff Devils supporter. As a family, they enjoy as much time as a family together as possible.
